Getting started
Who is Socraty for?
Distributors and manufacturers whose answers sit across ERP reports, spreadsheets, product catalogues and technical documents. Socraty answers your team’s questions about sales, stock, credit and products, and your customers’ product questions on your website.
How long does setup take?
Most pilots are live within a few weeks. The exact timing depends on the systems we connect and the checks you want the agent to pass before your team relies on it.
Does it replace our ERP?
No. Socraty sits on top of your ERP, accounts and CRM and works from what they already hold. Your team keeps the systems they know.
Do you need access to our ERP?
No. Socraty can start with the exports, spreadsheets and catalogue content your team already uses, and it is read-only by default. Live integrations can be scoped where required.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. The guided demo is free and needs no signup, and a 15-minute intro shows what a pilot on your own information would involve.
Control and your data
Can it change our data?
Only within the limits you approve. Socraty starts read-only. Any action, such as drafting an order or updating a record, is switched on by you, with its limits, and every action is logged.
How is our data protected?
Your data is kept separate from every other customer’s and is used only to run your agents. It is never used to train AI models. System credentials are held in a secure vault and never passed to an AI model. Data is hosted in the UK or EU and encrypted in transit and at rest.
What happens with questions it cannot answer?
It says so, offers to pass the question to a person and logs it for the team. Repeated unanswerable questions point to content worth adding to the catalogue.
Can it tell us who is visiting?
No. Visitors stay anonymous unless they choose to leave contact details so the team can reply. What is collected and how long it is kept is agreed for each implementation.
Pricing
What does it cost?
A fixed price, agreed in writing before we start. You pay half to begin the pilot and the other half only when the agent passes the checks you set. See pricing for what a pilot includes.
What does “starting from £1,000” include?
One workflow, set up on one agreed set of sources and tested against acceptance checks agreed with your team, followed by handover. The final price depends on how many sources, how many rules your team needs written down and whether anything beyond exports is wanted. It is fixed and agreed in writing before work starts.
When is pricing custom?
When you want both the internal and website agents, several workflows, a live system connection or work across more than one company or site. Each is scoped with you and quoted in writing.
The Customer Enquiry Agent
Does it use our live stock and prices?
Not by default. The agent is configured around agreed product content. Live stock or pricing would need a separate integration, scoped and agreed before any build.
Does this replace our website or shop?
No. The agent sits alongside your existing site and product pages. It does not take orders or payments.
