Draft, pending confirmation of retention periods. The controller details, the hosting provider and the description of how this site works are accurate. Retention periods for emails and server logs are still to be confirmed and are not stated. Last updated 16 September 2026.

Who is responsible for your information

The controller is Socraty Technologies Ltd, trading as Socraty Consulting, company number 16723706, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. Contact: hello@socraty.ai. The business is run by its director; there is no separate data protection officer.

What this website does and does not do

  • It is made of static pages. There are no user accounts, no login and no contact form.
  • It uses no analytics, no advertising tags, no social media plug-ins and no tracking scripts.
  • It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The interactive demonstrations and the animated workflows run entirely in your browser with invented sample data and send nothing anywhere.
  • The email buttons open your own email application with a suggested subject line. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
  • All fonts, scripts and images are served from this site. No third-party resources are loaded.

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your name, your email address, anything you write and, where your email system includes it, your company name. We use this to reply to you and, if you wish, to arrange and prepare for a conversation. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where you are considering working with us, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We do not sell or share this information, and we do not add you to marketing lists. If we have a conversation, we may keep notes of what you told us so that we do not ask twice.

Retention: to be confirmed and stated here before publication. We will not state a period we have not set.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted on Vercel, which serves the pages from its global edge network. Vercel may record standard request information such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type in order to serve and secure the site. How Vercel handles that information is described in Vercel’s privacy policy. How long any such logs are kept has not been confirmed and is not stated here.

Links to other websites

The site links to client websites, to a LinkedIn profile and to Companies House. Those sites have their own privacy notices and may set their own cookies. We do not control them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and in some cases ask for it in a portable form. Email us and we will respond. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. This notice follows the ICO’s guidance on what a privacy notice should contain, as far as the facts are known today.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. If that changes, for example because a hosting provider requires one, this page will say which cookie, why and for how long, before it is used.

Still to confirm before publication

  • Server log retention at the hosting provider (Vercel is the provider; retention is not confirmed).
  • Retention period for emails and conversation notes.
  • Whether any email provider or CRM tool is used to hold enquiries, and what its role is.
  • A review against current ICO guidance for privacy notices and GOV.UK guidance on trading disclosures.
