A visitor knows roughly what they need but not what you call it. The assistant guides them from “a filter for the FX-200” to the relevant catalogue entries.

A tailored AI assistant that helps visitors find their way around your catalogue, compares entries and knows when to hand over to your team.
Configured around product information you have agreed. Every question and enquiry is kept in a log your team can review.

01 / What it helps with
The assistant is configured around product information you have agreed. When the answer is not there, it says so and passes the question on.
A visitor knows roughly what they need but not what you call it. The assistant guides them from “a filter for the FX-200” to the relevant catalogue entries.
Navigation by conversationTwo codes look similar. The assistant sets out the differences the catalogue actually states, such as size, rating, finish and pack quantity, and cites the entries it used.
Grounded comparisonSuitability for a site, a price or a stock level needs a person. The assistant says what it cannot answer and offers to pass the question to a sales specialist.
Honest handover02 / Guided demonstration
Six preset questions, a six-line sample catalogue and a question log. The answers are written in advance, so nothing is sent or stored.
Each answer names the sample catalogue entry it relies on. Two of the six show the assistant declining to guess.
No question chosen yet.Pick one of the sample questions to see how a grounded answer reads, and watch the sample log below gain a row.
For hand wrapping, the catalogue lists SF-20 hand stretch film: 17 micron, 400 mm wide, 300 m per roll, supplied six rolls to a box.
The two machine films, SF-23 and SF-23-BK, are listed for pallet wrappers rather than hand use. Would you like the SF-20 entry in full, or a comparison with the machine films?
Source: sample entry SF-20Both are machine stretch films with the same gauge and roll size. The catalogue lists one difference, the colour.
| Sample entry | Gauge | Roll size | Colour |
|---|---|---|---|
| SF-23 | 23 micron | 500 mm x 1,500 m, 76 mm core | Clear |
| SF-23-BK | 23 micron | 500 mm x 1,500 m, 76 mm core | Opaque black |
The catalogue notes the black version for loads that should be kept from view. It does not state any other difference, so I will not suggest one.
Source: sample entries SF-23 and SF-23-BKYes. The catalogue lists the SW-1 semi-automatic pallet wrapper: 1,650 mm turntable, pallets up to 2,100 mm high, single-phase power. It uses 500 mm machine film such as SF-23.
Whether it suits your site and the loads you wrap is a question for a sales specialist. I can pass your question on, and if you would like a reply you can choose to leave your name and email.
Source: sample entry SW-1Handover. In a live implementation the visitor could choose to leave contact details here. This demonstration does not collect anything.
I cannot answer that from the catalogue. The SF-23 entry gives the gauge, roll size and colour but says nothing about outdoor use or cold weather, and I do not give advice beyond the agreed content.
I can pass this to a sales specialist who can advise. If you would like a reply, you can choose to leave your name and email and the team will come back to you.
Checked: sample entry SF-23 (no outdoor information)Referred. The question is logged for the team, marked as not covered by the catalogue. This demonstration does not collect details.
I do not hold prices or stock levels, so I cannot quote or confirm availability. The team can confirm both.
To help them reply quickly: SF-20 is the hand stretch film, 17 micron, 400 mm wide, 300 m per roll, six rolls to a box. If you would like a quote, you can choose to leave your details and the team will get back to you.
Source: sample entry SF-20 (description only)Referred. Live pricing and stock are not part of the assistant unless they are scoped and agreed for an implementation.
Yes. The catalogue lists TR-SW1, the turntable drive belt for the SW-1 pallet wrapper, sold singly.
If your machine is an earlier model, the team may ask for the serial number to confirm it is the right part.
Source: sample entry TR-SW1What the team would see: the question as asked, how it was handled and whether the visitor chose to leave details. Five invented entries, plus a row for each sample question you choose above.

| Reference | Question asked | Outcome | Visitor |
|---|---|---|---|
| ENQ-S005 | Spares for an older wrapper model“Do you still do parts for the wrapper we bought a few years ago?” | Referred: not in catalogue, content gap noted | Details left (sample: Customer E) |
| ENQ-S004 | Price of strapping coil PT-12“What does a 3,000 m coil of PT-12 cost?” | Referred: pricing not held by assistant | Anonymous visitor |
| ENQ-S003 | Pallet wrapper turntable size“How big is the turntable on the SW-1?” | Answered from catalogue (SW-1) | Anonymous visitor |
| ENQ-S002 | Outdoor use of stretch film“Can I use your machine film on pallets kept in the yard?” | Referred to sales specialist | Details left (sample: Customer D) |
| ENQ-S001 | Machine film gauge options“What thicknesses of machine film do you have?” | Answered from catalogue (SF-23) | Anonymous visitor |
“Details left” means the visitor chose to give a name and email in that sample conversation. The assistant does not identify anonymous visitors. What is collected, and for how long, is agreed for each implementation.
Six invented entries with neutral specifications. They exist only so the sample answers have something to cite.

This is a demonstration of the approach. A live assistant would be built on your agreed catalogue content, with boundaries, handover and log access scoped with your team.
03 / What your team gets
The log collects the questions visitors ask on your website, so the team can look at them together each week and see where a reply or better content is needed.
A website assistant was built and demonstrated for a UK supplier of packaging products, configured around its own product information, with product questions and enquiry capture as the focus.
The guided demo above shows the style of that work with an invented catalogue. Boundaries, handover and log review are agreed with each client before an assistant goes live.
Referred questions, and any where the visitor chose to leave details, sit together so a sales specialist can reply from one place.
When the same question keeps being referred because the catalogue does not cover it, that is a prompt to add the missing information at source.
Visitors can choose to give a name and email so a reply can reach them. What is collected and how long it is kept is agreed with you for each implementation.
Each answer names the entries it used, so anyone on the team can verify a reply against the catalogue and correct the content if something is wrong.
04 / How we scope it
A small, defined implementation is scoped once we understand your catalogue content, the questions people actually ask and how your team wants to handle handover.
Every build starts the same way: Mumin understands the work with your team, agrees the right workflow and its success checks, builds and tests with the people who will use it, then hands over with support as agreed. How projects work.
Talk through your catalogueAgree which product information the assistant is configured around: catalogue pages, data sheets, agreed FAQs.
Decide what it must not answer, how it hands over to a specialist and what a visitor may choose to leave behind.
Configure the assistant, then test sample questions against the catalogue with your team, including the ones it should decline.
Agree who reviews the question log, how often, and how catalogue changes flow back into the assistant.

A few practical questions
No. It is a guided demonstration with preset questions and written answers, so you can see the style of a grounded reply. A live assistant would be built on your own agreed content.
Not by default. The assistant is configured around agreed product content. Live stock or pricing would need a separate integration, scoped and agreed with you before any build.
No. Visitors stay anonymous unless they choose to leave contact details so the team can reply. What is collected and how long it is kept is agreed for each implementation.
It says so, offers to pass the question to a person and logs it for the team. Repeated unanswerable questions point to content worth adding to the catalogue.
No. The assistant sits alongside your existing site and product pages. It does not take orders or payments.
They are separate workflows and can be taken up independently. Each starts as a single, defined implementation. See the internal AI assistants page, or the Sales Sidekick for B2B sales teams.
